With Meta Mobile, participants are recruited just like in other types of qualitative studies. Then, over a period of days or weeks, they receive your predetermined questions at specified times... and simply text-back their responses.
All responses are automatically gathered and sorted by question and participant for immediate transcript feedback.
The system can send and receive text messages to and from any mobile phone in the US and can accommodate up to 100 participants at once. Our team of researchers can send out up to 10 unique messages per day (each with its own send time.) Want to drill down into what someone has told you? There is also the opportunity for additional probing. For example, Meta would recruit mall shoppers as they enter the mall. Every half hour our researchers could text them to find out what store they are in and what they are looking at. Additional probes could include questions as to how they rate the store or the mall environment overall. Studies can last up to 30 days while questions can be qualitative or quantitative in nature.
A new technology that has been on the rise involves QR codes and cell phones. This is a great tool to direct your customers or potential customers to additional information or a brief survey about your products or services.
